We would like to offer our sincerest thanks for your generous donation in support of the Peninsula Girls Chorus (PGC). The vision of the PGC is to create a choral group that will nurture and encourage young girls who love music. We have grown from a fledging group of eleven singers to an organization serving over 230 girls ages 6 – 18. Now celebrating its 19th season, the PGC provides Bay Area girls with an accelerated music education and performance program not found in the public or private school system. Graduates of our program have qualified for rigorous high school and college music programs; many have earned scholarships based on their musical ability and training. The PGC was recognized as the Best of Burlingame 2011 in the musicians’ category, our third year in a row for receiving this honor.

As the great Hungarian composer and educator Zoltan Kodaly said:

We can’t think of better gifts to give these children and young women than the gifts of friendship, self-esteem and artistry. We extend our deepest thanks and appreciation for your support. Your investment in these children will bear dividends for years to come.
