The Peninsula Girls Chorus is open to girls ages 6-18 who love to sing. No previous experience is necessary for a chorister to have a wonderful musical experience. New members are considered for placement in the Repertoire, Allegra and Cantate groups.
Auditions for the Peninsula Girls Chorus are typically held in April and August for the fall term. Space permitting, singers may also audition in October for the spring term that starts in January.
How to schedule an audition:

Step 1: Click here to download our audition information packet OR call our office at (650) 347-6351 to request a hard copy packet in the mail. This packet includes information about the chorus and the audition itself. Please leave your name, phone number, your daughter’s age, and a mailing address.
Step 2: Once you have reviewed the materials carefully, please fill out the online audition reservation request form below. Appointments last approximately 15 minutes. A parent or guardian must accompany each singer to her audition.
Step 3: When we have received your audition reservation request, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from the PGC office, along with a registration form to fill out and bring with you to your audition.
Step 4: Singers should prepare one short, simple, melodic piece that demonstrates their range and pitch accuracy. Songs will be sung unaccompanied. Classical or folk songs preferred. Pop songs or songs from musical theater are not appropriate for a choral audition.
